Swab tests are frightening! They happen so quickly and so randomly that most people find themselves unable to dodge it. So, how can you prepare yourself to face a mouth swab drug test?
Two words: Detox Mouthwash. These products can work wonders but there’s a fair share of duds on the market. In this article, we’re going to be taking a look at a popular mouthwash with very mixed reviews in the community – Stinger Detox Mouthwash!
How Does A Mouth Swab Drug Test Work?
If you want to pass a mouth swab test, then you definitely need to know it works. This type of drug test is very simple and only involves getting the inside of your cheek swabbed with a small sponge or absorbent pad. This collection device is then dipped into the testing panel, which will show the presence or absence of whatever substances are being tested for.
The range and sensitivity of a mouth swab test panel vary from brand to brand, but they can usually detect the presence of controlled substances from 5 to 48 hours after intake. This typically depends on the frequency of use. Some common substances that can be detected by mouth swab tests are amphetamines, methamphetamines, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, opioids, cannabis, and phencyclidine (PCP).
Why Employers Use Mouth Swab Drug Tests?
Mouth swab drug tests are quickly gaining popularity among workplaces. This is because these types of tests are cheaper, quicker, and much easier to administer than any other type of drug test. They’re so convenient, in fact, that literally anyone can conduct this type of drug test with no prior experience while still presenting reliable results after only a few minutes. If instructions are followed, this test has a 98% success rate.
All these things come together to create a test that can be administered at any time and any place, making it perfect as a surprise drug test. The fact that you aren’t left alone throughout the entire process means that there is very little room for tampering with the sample. This is where Stinger mouthwash comes in.
What Is Stinger Detox Mouthwash?
Stinger Mouthwash is exactly what the name implies – a detoxifying mouthwash that promises to flush out all the toxins in your mouth for a period of 30 minutes. This leaves you free to take any saliva test knowing full well that you can pass it.
How Do You Use Stinger Detox Mouthwash?
Using Stinger Mouthwash is relatively easy. All you need to do is to excuse yourself for a while and head to the nearest bathroom (or really anywhere you can be alone). Then you open the small bottle of Stinger mouthwash and take a few sips. Swish the formula around for about a minute before you spit or swallow the liquid. Repeat this process until the entire bottle of mouthwash is used up.
Once done, simply dispose of the bottle and then go ahead and take the test! Remember that Stinger Mouthwash only ensures maximum effectiveness for up to 30 minutes, so make sure that you take your saliva drug test within this window of time.
How Does It Work?
You might be wondering how this product actually works. I was thinking the same thing, which is why I did some digging around. I checked the product’s website and found it a little strange that it doesn’t list any ingredients or provide any explanation as to how the product works. Even product reviews are mostly mixed, with some people complaining that the product flat-out didn’t work.
This leads me to believe that Stinger Detox mouthwash can work, but probably not in the exact way that they advertise. My best guess is that the product doesn’t clean up your mouth, but instead heavily masks the metabolites and toxins that could be detected by a saliva drug test. Now, this shouldn’t really be a problem as long as the product works. Which is why I decided to purchase some and test it for myself.
My Review
In preparation for this article, I purchased a bottle of Stinger Detox Mouthwash and a home mouth swab drug test. I smoked my usual amount of cannabis (about 0.5 grams, I’m not a heavy smoker) and let it stay in my system for a few hours. I then brushed my teeth and prepared the mouth swab test. I also made sure not to eat or drink anything before taking the saliva drug test.
I took a few swigs of the Stinger mouthwash and swished it around my mouth for a minute before swallowing the liquid. I repeated this about 2 more times until I finished my bottle of mouthwash. After this, I proceeded to swab the inside of my cheek with the saliva test and then waited for the results. Unfortunately, the drug test said that I failed and that THC could still be detected.
This result bummed me out and is why I honestly find it hard to recommend this product to you. Sure, some people claim that the product work, but would you really entrust your job security to a product that could work? There are lots of better products out there and I would recommend that you check them out as well.
Pros and cons:
- The product is pocketable
- Easy to use
- Unreliable results
- Tastes bad
Conclusion
Despite the simplicity of a saliva test, failing one can still cause long-lasting repercussions on both you and your career. You could lose your job, get suspended, or even get in trouble with the law. With so much on the line, you absolutely have to choose a product that won’t let you down. That’s why I recommend Toxin Rid Rescue Wash!
Rescue Wash is a detoxifying mouthwash produced by Testclear. This specific brand of detox mouthwash comes with not only a more potent formula and an equally amazing track record but also a money-back guarantee! That’s how confident Testclear is with their product. If you have a drug test coming up, definitely check them out!

Detox Mouthwash FAQ
How Far Back Can Saliva Tests Detect Drugs?
This depends on a lot of different factors, including the type of drug you use, the frequency of your usage, and even the sensitivity of the specific test being used. The general window of detection is usually 5-48 hours after use. Keep in mind that this window could be even longer for a heavy smoker.
If It’s Mouthwash, How Come I Can Swallow It?
Detox mouthwash isn’t focused on cleaning your mouth to give you fresh breath, which is why it doesn’t contain any alcohol. This means that the product is safe for human consumption. An advantage of this is that you can actually use detox mouthwash anywhere because you won’t actually need to spit anything out.
Does It Taste Bad?
I’m gonna be honest with you, it isn’t the best taste in the world. The liquid itself tastes slightly metallic and slimy, but it’s bearable enough. Just don’t expect it to taste like ordinary mouthwash and you’ll be fine.
Are There Other Kinds Of Drug Tests?
Yes, there are other types of drug tests that an employer can subject you to. The most common ones are the urine test, the hair follicle test, and the blood test. Other types of drug tests will require a different set of products, so always be sure about just what kind of test you’re going up against. It would be a good idea to ask around the workplace about what kind of drug testing is common, especially if you’re new to the job.
