Opportunities to make a real difference to the lives of young people are rare and even more so when your contribution could educate, create enterprise and address the root causes of poverty. In the last year of the Board a proposal to work in partnership
with the charity Build Africa has been agreed.

It is hoped to raise £36,000, £1000 for each year of the boards existance that may seem a lot but, if we put it in context 8000 employees contributing £5.00 per head can build a school and provide extra resources. The cost of building a school is £25,000. You're helping to build futures.

It is hoped to build a school with the support of Build Africa and SELB staff. The charity has a proven track record in addressing some of the issues that affect the lives of young people living in rural Africa and will be supporting our fundraising efforts.
