Jobs in the Education Authority Southern Region

From 01 October 2015, the Education Authority (EA) will no longer routinely advertise job vacancies in local, regional or national newspapers. From this date, all vacancies will appear on the EA website www.eani.org.uk/i-want-to/apply-for-a-job/ and on www.jobcentreonline.com

This applies to:

  • Teaching and non-teaching vacancies within the Controlled school sector
  • Non-teaching vacancies within the Catholic Maintained school sector
  • Vacancies within the Education Authority

Applicants should be aware that application forms must be received by the Equal Opportunities Unit, by the closing date and time stated on the application form.

The alternatives to using the postal service are hand delivery of your application form to reception at:

The Mall, Armagh, BT61 9AX

Reception opening hours - 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

There is an external post box located to the left of the main entrance to Education Authority Southern Region office. This is available 24 hours per day.

The Southern Education and Library Board (the ‘Board’) was established as part of Local Government reorganisation in 1973 and is the largest of the five area Boards. The Board's principle functions are the provision of education and youth services to the District Council areas of Armagh, Banbridge, Cookstown, Craigavon, Dungannon & South Tyrone and Newry & Mourne. It spans 1,450 square miles with a total population of approximately 390,300 including 75,767 pupils.
