Primary Education (4 - 11 Years)

All children who are 4 years old on or before the 1st July must attend school from the beginning of the school year following their 4th birthday.

The application procedure for primary education allows parents to express a preference for the primary school they wish their child to attend. You should contact the principal of the primary school in which you are interested and he/she will give you an information booklet and an application form.

The booklet which is produced on a council basis is also available on request from the
