Admissions to Primary School, Nursery School or Playgroup

If your child is 4 on or before 1 July 2012 they must attend Primary School.

If your child is born between 2 July 2008 and 1 July 2009 free Pre-School places are available in Nursery Schools and Nursery Classes in Primary Schools and in some voluntary and private Playgroups and Day Nurseries that have places funded by the Education and Library Board. A few schools may also have free places available for younger children.

Parents/Guardians should get an application form and information booklet from the school or Pre-School provider of their choice. Forms and Booklets may also be obtained by clicking on the relevant link to the right.

Please leave your Pre-School application form with your first choice provider on or before Wednesday 11 January 2012 (12 noon). Likewise Primary School application forms should be left with your first choice Primary School on or before Wednesday 18 January 2012 (12 noon).
