Tamnmore Learning Centre

Junior EOTAS is a provision that caters for Key Stage 3 students who have substantive Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties and who cannot be maintained in their Mainstream school.

Tamnmore is a small provision that enables the students to address their behavioural issues and access learning. As well as addressing SEBD issues, KS3 delivers the Northern Ireland Curriculum according to the age, aptitude and ability of the young person. There is an emphasis on multi-agency work to support the young people.

Staff works hard at developing relationships that enable young people to feel safe and to take risks with learning. Social skills and team building facilitate the forming of these relationships so there is a sense of mutual respect created between all in the Junior EOTAS team.

External Accreditation is sought where possible and partner organizations supplement the delivery of certain aspects of the programmes offered. Success is celebrated.
