| National Deaf Children's Society (NDCS) Poetry & Visual Arts Competition |

| Each year, the NDCS hold a poetry and visual arts competition and as usual, there have been a number of winners from the SELB. The teachers in the Sensory Support Service (SELB) are delighted with the achievements of the following children and young people: |

Martin Csomo from Armstrong Primary School in Armagh
Cameron Shepherd from Cookstown High School
Eve Canavan from Drumanoe Nursery School in Lurgan
Nathan Gibson from Lismore Comprehensive School in Lurgan

Victoria Murray from Killylea Primary School won 1st prize in the 4 – 8 years’ age group and also the shield for the best overall piece of artwork in the competition. She is pictured right:

Catherine Dougan from Killycomaine Junior High School received 1st place for creative writing in the 9 – 13s category and she also won the Belfast Telegraph cup for overall best entry in Creative Writing and is pictured left:
