FILMABILITY in partnership with FLEMING FULTON INCLUSION FESTIVAL
This year our Filmability project cultivates an exciting new partnership with the Fleming Fulton Inclusion Festival. The Filmability 2009 programme will culminate with four days of festival events to celebrate ‘Inclusion’ on Thurs 23rd Friday 24th Monday 27th and Tuesday 28th April 2009..

FILMABILITY in partnership with FLEMING FULTON INCLUSION FESTIVAL
 

Young people, schools and youth groups, we are asking you to submit a short film and/or a piece of artwork based on this theme 'Inclusion'.

Workshops January to March
A series of mentoring workshops to assist in the development, facilitation and obtaining funding for participants’ own animation, media and film ideas

Master class February to March
A master class in creative writing to harness talent and support participants towards developing script ideas. Supported by the lottery through the UK Film Council’s First Light Movies Initiative.

Exhibition January to March, April
The ‘Celebrating Inclusion’ Exhibition invites young people to express their views on disability & inclusion through photographed, painted or drawn images.

Submission for the exhibition 16 th January – 27 th March
Exhibition Launch on 20 th April at a local renowned gallery. Open to the public from 21 -28 April

Filmability Showcase 23rd April
The festival will screen short films from all over Europe produced by young people to tell their story and portray their views on how they view an Inclusive Society

Inclusion Conference 24th April
A one day international conference open to young people, parents, professionals and disability organisations to explore where we are in N Ireland and Europe in terms of promoting meaningful and effective inclusion in our schools and in society.

Inclusion: Coming together in Music 27 & 28th April
The Ulster Orchestra will work with school groups and will include a performance showcasing the music the participants have created on the 28 th April.
