| All of the pupils’ parents attended, and proudly joined in the celebration of their children’s successes and achievements over the past school year. Also in attendance were representatives from the many multi-agencies that have provided programmes of study and support for the pupils, including Craigavon Borough Council, Angling First, Health Promotion Agency, The DAWN Project and numerous local businesses which provided sponsorship funding throughout the year. Awards were presented to pupils who had displayed academic progress and behavioural improvements and also winners of health and fitness activities. The “Pupil of the Year” trophy, which is based on continuous behavioural assessment, was awarded jointly to 2 pupils this year.
The staff at Lough Road Learning Centre would like to thank all of those who attended the ceremony and look forward to working with them again in the future. |
