| Over 4,000 children will start Pre-School Education in September 2007 |
|
| Over
4,000 children across the Southern Education and Library Board (SELB) area will learn this weekend which funded pre-school setting they will attend in September 2007.
Funded pre-school places are available in nursery schools, nursery units attached to primary schools as well as voluntary and private playgroups and day nurseries that
have pre-school places funded by the Southern Education and Library Board’s Pre-School Education Advisory Group (PEAG).
|
Parents and guardians will receive letters on Saturday, 5 May 2007 from the pre-school setting as described above which will admit their son or daughter from September 2007.
Those children who have not received a place will receive a letter from the Board on Saturday, notifying them of pre-school settings that still have funded places available.
This list may be accessed by clicking on the following link www.selb.org/pupilparent/index.htm
Many voluntary, private playgroups and private day nurseries may also have fee-paying places available for pre-school children. Parents and guardians may contact these
providers directly to obtain the necessary information. The contact details for these groups are available on the board’s website
www.selb.org/pupilparent/index.htm
The Board would like to wish all children well as they commence their pre-school education.
