B Post-Primary & Special Schools
The winning entries will receive a £100 cheque for themselves, a £100 cheque for their schools and a framed copy of the design. Another copy will be on display at Board Headquarters in Armagh. We shall also arrange local publicity.
Winners, the principals of their schools and other teachers involved will be invited to a presentation with lunch at Board Headquarters on the morning of 12 December 2007.
Attached is a brief outline with the necessary details which perhaps could be passed on to your Art Teacher or appropriate person.
The competition is open to all students in your school and entries should be received no later than Monday, 5 November 2007.

- All designs should be returned to me at the address below by Monday, 5 November 2007.
- The design theme is open.
- The card must be of an original design and submitted solely for the SELB Christmas Card competition and no other competition.
- Images from computer programmes should not be used.
- Please submit designs A4 size, preferably on card. There is no restriction as to colour; however please keep in mind that the design will have to be scanned on to a card and any materials used on the actual design (eg fabric, glitter) may not be visible.
- Please write the artist’s name, age, school name and address on the back of each drawing.
- The decision of the judging panel will be final.
As the SELB is a local Board and is all about providing services locally, please feel free to draw on inspiration from the local area around your school.
The winning entrants will be notified in early November and invited to a presentation at Board Headquarters on the morning of 12 December 2007.
