No to discrimination EU poster design competition
The European Commission has launched a competition for teenagers between the ages of 12 and 18 to design a poster on the theme of “The European Union and non-discrimination”. 2007 is the European Year of Equal Opportunities for All and the aim of the competition is to raise awareness of the importance of tackling discrimination across the EU.

Entrants are invited to together a team of at least four people in one of two age categories – 12-14 year olds or 15-18 year olds. An online registration form must be completed by Monday 24 September and all entries for the competition should be submitted no later than Wednesday 31st October 2007.

The winners of the first prize in the national competition will compete in a second round at European level. The top three European teams in each age group will be invited to Brussels from 15 to 17 December for a tour of the city and the EU institutions. They will also attend an award ceremony hosted by the European Commission.
