SELB promoting staff health
The Southern Education and Library Board Welfare Service has hosted a health promotion day called ‘Spring into Health’ for teaching and non-teaching staff.
The event was held on Monday, March 22, 2004, in The Market Place Theatre, Armagh.
All employees were invited to attend sessions which was held from 10am to 4pm. Advice was available from organisations such as the Chest Heart and Stroke Association and the Blood Transfusion Service.

Among health tests provided on the day were those checking blood pressure and fitness. Exhibitors gave advice on therapies ranging from acupuncture to Indian head massage. Workshops were offered covering such topics as the need for being active, yoga, and on healthy eating.
