SELB employees congratulated on long service
The chairman of the Southern Education and Library Board (SELB) has expressed her congratulations to 49 employees who have marked 30 years of service with the Board.
Mrs Moira Alexander addressed the long-serving staff members who were guests of the Board at a function in the boardroom at SELB headquarters in Armagh on Monday, October 4.
The employees came from across the six districts of the Board's area: Armagh, Banbridge, Cookstown, Craigavon, Dungannon and South Tyrone and Newry and Mourne, and reflected the wide variety of services the SELB provides.

Mrs Alexander said: "I would like to congratulate all those who have marked 30 years of service with the SELB.
"I would also thank these staff members who have given such loyal service during what is a significant part of their lifetimes.
"I hope that your long service is testament to the SELB being an organisation which cares for its staff and makes every effort to promote their health and welfare.
"It gives me great pleasure to be able to present a token of appreciation on behalf of the Board as a reminder of the service you have provided to the community of the SELB area."
Each of the 49 staff members received a Tyrone Crystal rose bowl which bears the Southern Education and Library Board logo and the inscription '30 years of service to the community'.
Members of the South Ulster Recorder Ensemble entertained guests at the event and the SELB’s Catering Service provided a hot buffet meal.
