The Chief Executive of the Southern Education and Library Board, Helen McClenaghan, has expressed her congratulations to 32 colleagues who have received their European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL).

Mrs McClenaghan was speaking when she presented the computer qualification to those who had completed basic and advanced levels of the programme.
The Board’s technology centre at Clounagh is an accredited test centre for ECDL and to date 165 employees have successfully completed the ECDL qualification.
Among the recipients were a group of seven officers from internal audit who achieved the qualification through on line study.

Mrs McClenaghan said the whole Board business is enhanced by the skills developed by those who have undertaken the computer qualification.
The opportunity to obtain the ECDL basic and advanced level qualifications is available to SELB staff with tutorials starting at various times throughout the year.

Advanced ECDL certificates were presented to Ann Bradshaw, Brenda Campbell, Donna Davidson, Erika Hill, Lorraine Livingstone, Sonya Martin, Pamela Monaghan, Jill Robinson, Joan Shine, Alison Wilson.
