| Chief
Executive presents ECDL certificates to staff |

| The
Chief Executive of the Southern Education and Library
Board, Mrs Helen McClenaghan, has expressed her congratulations
to 25 colleagues who have received their European Computer
Driving Licence (ECDL). |
| Mrs
McClenaghan was speaking when she presented the computer
qualification to those who had completed basic and advanced
levels of the programme.. |

The
Board’s technology centre at Clounagh is an
accredited test centre for ECDL and to date 143 employees
have successfully completed the ECDL qualification.
A further seven officers from Internal Audit are studying
the course on line and are due to complete later this
month. Mrs McClenaghan said the whole Board business
is enhanced by the skills developed by those who have
undertaken the computer qualification.
The opportunity to obtain the ECDL basic and advanced
level qualifications is available to SELB staff with
tutorials starting at various times throughout the
year.
