SELB Christmas Card
The annual SELB Christmas Card competition attracted an amazing 1100 entries this year. In September, pupils from around the southern board area were invited to submit their design for the SELB Christmas card and the response was overwhelming.
As chairman of the panel of judges, Chief Executive Helen McClenaghan commented, “The standard this year has been second to none, it was an extremely difficult choice and I congratulate everyone who entered a design for their vision and creativity.”

Nadine Calvert from The Drelincourt Primary School in Armagh came tops in the Chairman’s and Chief Executive’s Card and Patrick Trainor from Sperrinview Special School in Dungannon won first prize in the SELB Corporate card. Nadine, Patrick, their teachers and School Principals were welcomed to Board HQ in Armagh on Thursday 19 December to receive their prizes and framed copies of their designs.

The cards have been sent out to a range of SELB partners including schools, youth clubs, libraries, local district councils, government departments, MLA’s and SELB Board Members to name a few.
