Summer Conference for Teachers in Learning Support Centres

On the 5 June over 50 teachers from throughout the Southern Education and Library Board area attended a summer conference held specifically for teachers teaching in learning support centres. The conference held in Armagh City Hotel, was organised by the Southern Education & Library Board.

Linda Fullerton, SELB Advisory Teacher Special Needs commented, “This conference is designed specifically to meet the needs of teachers in Learning Support Centres. In particular it allows teachers the opportunity to attend in order to celebrate and share existing good practice.”

This is the first time such a conference has been planned solely for teachers in Learning Support Centres and teachers from Donard, Lisanally Rathfriland Hill and Sperrinview where some of those in attendance on the day.
