On
the 5th June pupils and adults from schools throughout
the Southern Education and Library Board area gathered
at Armagh City Hotel to be awarded certificates for
the SELB annual creative writing competition –
‘My Word 3’.
The
judges, local authors Kate Newmann and Leon McAuley
had the difficult task of choosing prizewinners for
five categories from almost 2000 entries, all of which
where of an extremely high standard.
Presenting
the winners with their certificates was Trevor Coffey (SELB
Primary Phase Adviser/CASS).
