If the security scan indicates that your PC contains harmful or undesirable applications (malware), you may be able to remove these by installing the software below. If this does not remove the applications, please print or note the details of the malware in the results of the security scan and contact the Corporate IS Helpdesk for further guidance.

Additional Security Protection

You should also ensure that your Windows Firewall is switched on and that your PC is set to receive Automatic Updates from Microsoft (Windows 7). If you do not have Windows 7 or newer, you can install a free firewall from ZoneAlarm.

The Southern Education and Library Board (the ‘Board’) was established as part of Local Government reorganisation in 1973 and is the largest of the five area Boards. The Board's principle functions are the provision of education and youth services to the District Council areas of Armagh, Banbridge, Cookstown, Craigavon, Dungannon & South Tyrone and Newry & Mourne.
