and Local Studies Libraries
The
Irish and Local Studies Library shares accommodation with
the Queens University at Armagh campus and the North-South
Ministerial Council Secretariat in one of Armagh’s fine
old Georgian buildings, formerly the City Hospital. Access
to the library is via the car park.
This
library, which covers all aspects of Irish life and learning
from earliest times to the present day, offers full reference
facilities to researchers. It has a spacious reading room,
individual study carrels for in-depth private study, ten computers
with internet access, as well as a separate room for viewing
microforms and copying facilities.
