Transfer Placements 2015

On Friday 22 May 2015 approximately 5000 letters will be posted to parents of Primary 7 children due to transfer to Post-Primary Education in September 2015 advising them of the school to which their child has been admitted. This does not apply to any pupil for whom the Education Authority holds a formal Statement of Special Educational Needs. Parents may contact the Special Education Section for any queries regarding the transfer of pupils with a Statement.

Letters will be posted by 1st class delivery, however, this does not guarantee receipt on the following day. Therefore any parent who does not receive their child’s placement letter on Saturday may contact the Pupil and Parent Unit, Education Authority, Southern Region to be advised of where their child has been placed.

Staff will be available between 3.00pm – 5.00pm on Saturday 23 May 2015 by telephone on 028 3751 2520 or 028 3741 0084.

Please note this arrangement has been made to confirm placement details only and any other transfer related queries can be discussed with staff when Education Authority offices re-open on Tuesday 26 May 2015.
