SELB Christmas Card Competition Winners 2014

Eleni Buchanan, aged 7 from Tandragee PS, winner in the Primary/Special School category of the SELB Christmas card competition, is pictured being presented with a framed copy of her winning design by Gavin Boyd, SELB Chief Executive, and Ronnie McVeigh, Vice-chair of the Board.  She was accompanied by Mrs Buchanan, her mother and David McCollam, principal of Tandragee PS.

Katie Weir, year 8 from Kilkeel HS, winner in the Post Primary School category of the SELB Christmas card competition, is pictured being presented with a framed copy of her winning design by Gavin Boyd, SELB Chief Executive and Ronnie McVeigh, Vice-chair of the Board.  She was accompanied by Julie Houston, art teacher at Kilkeel HS and Alex Stevenson also year 8.

SERVICES & INFORMATION

The Southern Education and Library Board (the ‘Board’) was established as part of Local Government reorganisation in 1973 and is the largest of the five area Boards. The Board's principle functions are the provision of education and youth services to the District Council areas of Armagh, Banbridge, Cookstown, Craigavon, Dungannon & South Tyrone and Newry & Mourne. It spans 1,450 square miles with a total population of approximately 390,300 including 75,767 pupils.
