(Job Ref: T08070) Key Stage 2 (P5). Applicants must possess an honours degree (minimum 2:1) and be primary trained at Key Stage 2. Applicants must also have the ability to assist with the co-ordination of Art and Design throughout the school and the ability to deliver an extra-curricular activity within or after school. The following criteria are desirable: a) have taken either Art and Design or PE or both as main components of teaching qualification; b) a minimum of 3 months continuous teaching experience within the last 3 years. (Applicants must clearly demonstrate the continuity of their experience on the application form); c) understanding of Formative Assessment techniques and the teaching of Thinking Skills and Personal Capabilities; d) demonstrable qualification and/or skills in the publication of a school magazine.
Shortlisted candidates may be required to give a short presentation using an interactive white board.
