(Job Ref: T08057) English Language, English Literature and Journalism. This is a permanent post required from 1 January 2009. Applicants must possess an honours degree (2:2 minimum) in English or a teaching qualification in English . Applicants must also have experience teaching in an 11–18 or 14–18 school and of teaching GCSE English Language, GCSE English Literature and A Level English Literature. Applicants must also demonstrate the following: the ability and willingness to assist the Director of the College's Annual Drama Production and the ability and willingness to teach one or more of the following: GCSE Short Course RE, GCSE Learning for Life and Work, GCSE Drama. The following criteria are desirable: - a) honours degree minimum 2:1; b) 6 months continuous teaching experience; c) experience of teaching Journalism to GCSE.
