*CLASSROOM ASSISTANT (FOUNDATION STAGE, PRIMARY 2)

(TEMPORARY FOR 2008/2009 SCHOOL YEAR)

HOURS: 10 per week

SALARY: £6.3432 - £7.9280 per hour – SCP 6-13

Essential Criteria

•  NVQ Level II in Children's Care Learning and Development, or equivalent qualification as recognised by the SELB.

Desirable Criteria

•  NVQ Level III in Children's Care Learning and Development, or equivalent qualification as recognised by the SELB;

•  Experience of working with children in primary classes 1-7;

•  Ability to act on own initiative.
