NURSERY ASSISTANT
JOB REF: S10021
HOURS: 30 per week (8:30am – 3:00pm daily)
SALARY: £13,874 - £16,054 per annum (pro-rata)
Essential Criteria
- NVQ Level II in Children's Care Learning and Development, or equivalent qualification as recognised by the SELB;
- A minimum of 18 months' experience within the last 3 years of working in a nursery school/unit or foundation stage class in a primary school;
- Understanding of Child Protection issues;
- Good interpersonal skills;
- Enthusiasm; and
- Ability to build strong relationships with class.
Desirable Criteria
- NVQ Level III in Children's Care Learning and Development, or equivalent qualification as recognised by the SELB;
- Three years' experience within the last 5 years of working in a nursery school/unit or foundation stage class in a primary school;
- Accredited first aid qualification;
- I.C.T. skills.
