(TEMPORARY FOR 2007/2008 SCHOOL YEAR WITH POSSIBLE EXTENSION) WITH ADDITIONAL NURSERY ASSISTANT HOURS (2 POSTS)
Classroom Assistant hours: Post 1 10 & Post 2 15 @ £8.0724 - £8.6392 per hour – SCP 14-17
Nursery Assistant hours: To be arranged @ £7.8695 - £8.5517 per hour (Recognised Scale), £7.8695 - £9.1288 per hour (Qualified Scale). The successful applicants will be placed on the appropriate scale
Essential Criteria
• NVQ Level II in Children's Care Learning and Development, or equivalent qualification as recognised by the SELB;
• Experience of working with Special Educational Needs children in a school setting;
• Good oral and written communication skills; and
• Ability to work as part of a team.
Desirable Criteria
• NVQ Level III in Children's Care Learning and Development, or equivalent qualification as recognised by the SELB;
• Experience of working with Special Educational Needs children in a nursery school or nursery class within a primary school.
