TEMPORARY ASSESSOR (ADULT OCN COURSES) JOB REF: Y12014

LOCATION: AN AREA YOUTH OFFICE OR SELB PREMISES

SALARY: JNC Youth & Community Professional Range pts 17-20, £13.6239 - £14.7421 per hour

HOURS: 8 hours in total per student

Essential Criteria

•  Professionally qualified Youth Worker or equivalent (e.g. D32/D33 Assessor's Award);

•  Minimum of 3 year's post qualifying experience in a range of youth service settings;

•  Experience of supporting adults or young people to complete portfolios;

•  Knowledge of OCN accreditation requirements;

•  Good evaluation and/or critical reflection skills;

•  Knowledge of and empathy for “Youth Work: A Model for Effective Practice”;

•  Ability to support staff;

•  Good communicator;

•  Access to transport that enables post holder to carry out the duties of the post.

Desirable Criteria

• Previous experience of assessing OCN in Youth Work Level 2 & 3.
