A Development Proposal (DP) is required under Article 14 of the Education and Libraries (NI) Order 1986 before any significant change can be made to a school and is needed for new schools wishing to be recognised for grant-aid, school closures, amalgamations of schools, significant changes to the character or size of a school and changes which would have a significant impact on another grant-aided school.

Are you starting a Further Education course this September?

Will you be over 19 on the 1 July 2013, help with finance is available by applying for a Further Education Award.

Closing date for full time students is 30 August but funding for eligible full time students is guaranteed by applying before 28 June 2013.

This DVD aims to assist young people to prepare for the transition from primary to post-primary school. This is often a time of great excitement for 10 and 11 year olds however, it can also be tinged with apprehension and sometimes anxiety. The Draft SELB Strategic Area Plan for Primary Schools will be available on the Board's web site from 11.00am on Tuesday 19 March 2013 for public consultation. The consultation period will run from 19 March 2013 to 30 June 2013.
