| OVER 4,000 CHILDREN WILL START PRE-SCHOOL EDUCATION IN SEPTEMBER 2008 |
Over 4,000 children across the Southern Education and Library Board (SELB) area will learn this weekend which funded pre-school setting they will attend in September 2008.
Those children who have not received a place will receive a letter from the Board on Saturday, notifying them of pre-school settings that still have funded places available.

Again this year Summer opportunities at Killowen are being offered to young people and groups who reside in the Western Education & Library Board area following the successful introduction of collaborative working between both Youth Departments. Early booking is therefore advised to secure your place - places will be offered on a ‘first come, first served basis’.

From 1 April 2008 responsibility for undertaking criminal history background checks transfers from PSNI Criminal Records Office to a new organisation called AccessNI. (Single History Disclosure Body).
