This paper sets out the high level organisation design of the Education and Skills Authority (ESA). It describes the context within which the design of the structure has been considered and provides an overview of the approach taken in designing the new structure. It presents the proposed structure of the new organisation.

All those who are involved in providing services on behalf of the Board and those who receive services from the Board are invited to comment on this paper. Comments should be made either direct to the ESA Implementation Team, (Forestview, Purdy’s Lane, Belfast, BT8 7AR) or to the SELB through the Chief Executive’s office, no later than May 31. Schools with SELB Board members sitting on their Board of Governors can use this channel to ensure that their views are reflected.
