Aim of Section

To assist schools in the SELB area provide appropriate education for children and young people who have emotional and behavioural difficulties or who are temporarily unable to attend school.

The BST is based in the Silverwood Centre and provides assessment and intervention services, advice, training and support to schools throughout SELB.

EOTAS provision is offered through 7 multidisciplinary teams providing individually differentiated education and high quality learning experiences, teaching towards individual targets. Teams have bases throughout the Board. Each aims to enable pupils to learn in as socially inclusive a context as possible.
