The Contracts and Property Management Branch has responsibility for the following sections of the Board’s Headquarters:

Property Management

The responsibilities of the Branch in relation to Property Management are:

  • Purchase of sites and buildings 
  • Sale of surplus sites, parts of sites and buildings 
  • Lease of land and buildings to the Board 
  • Lease to tenants of property not immediately needed by the Board 
  • Maintenance of a Register of all property held by the Board 
  • Obtaining valuations of Board-owned sites and buildings as necessary 

Tenders and Contracts

The main functions of this Section are:

  • Issue of applications to contractors wishing to be included on a select list 
  • Processing applications and servicing the Consultants’ Selection Panel 
  • Issue of tender forms to selected contractors 
  • Opening of tenders in the presence of a Board member 
  • Informing contractors of the result of the tendering process 
  • Preparation, signing and safe keeping of contract documents 
  • Payment of contractors’ and consultants’ accounts
