Property Management
The responsibilities of the Branch in relation to Property Management are:
- Purchase of sites and buildings
- Sale of surplus sites, parts of sites and buildings
- Lease of land and buildings to the Board
- Lease to tenants of property not immediately needed by the Board
- Maintenance of a Register of all property held by the Board
- Obtaining valuations of Board-owned sites and buildings as necessary
Tenders and Contracts
The main functions of this Section are:
- Issue of applications to contractors wishing to be included on a select list
- Processing applications and servicing the Consultants Selection Panel
- Issue of tender forms to selected contractors
- Opening of tenders in the presence of a Board member
- Informing contractors of the result of the tendering process
- Preparation, signing and safe keeping of contract documents
- Payment of contractors and consultants accounts
