Mrs Ruth Bell, Assistant Senior Education Officer, Children and Young People's Services with responsibility for:

- Special Schools and a range of Learning Support Services which include: Autism; SpLD; Language and Communication; Visual Impairment and hearing Impairment; Advice and Information Services for SEN; general SEN support for schools.
The Children & Young People's Services Department also has responsibility for :

- Pupil Personal Development Services
- DARS
- Behaviour Support
